TRAIN DIDDY

By Geza Keller

Geza wrote this song in 2011, during one of his daily Amtrak train commutes between his home in Carlsbad, CA, and his Infinite Optics office in Santa Ana.

This was a cataclysmic time in his personal life, so he channeled his emotional struggles into his music. As such, it was a period of prolific songwriting.

"It was about everybody in the rat race," he said. "We're all on a train. Every day."

Video production is underway. Stay tuned!

LYRICS:

Travelling down this road I see you every day

The look on your face tells me what you want to say

I can tell that things aren’t really going your way

You never thought this life was going to be this way

Someone told me that your dreams will all come true

Just believe in the things that always pulled you through

I can tell those lines don’t mean much to you

You never thought this life was going to be up to you

I see you on this train almost every day

You look away as if you don’t know what you want to say

I can see things aren’t really going your way

You never thought this life

Was going to be this way

Sometimes I think it’s all going to fade away

When you asked me how long I’d stay

I said I didn’t know because I know how life can change

I know that’s the reason that you walked away

You never thought this life

Was going to be this way

You never thought it would come down to a judgment day

Sometimes I think things will never change
